But man chose to disobey God and to do things his own way, because of
this, man was cast away from God, and SIN (disobedience to God) became
a barrier that prevented man from coming close to the Holy God.  No
longer could man enjoy the close and joyful relationship he once had
with God.

Therefore he chose to live his life without God, and because God is the
source of all life, man's way was leading him to eternal death.

Because men need God, they try in many different ways to restore their
relationship with God. They try other religions, human relationships, or
doing good works.  None of man's efforts can get to God - we are still
separated from Him by our sin.

Because God loves us so much He was not willing to see us die, even though
we deserve it.  So God did the most amazing miracle, something only God
could have thought of.  He sent His one and only Son Jesus Christ to become
a man, like us.

Jesus, who had no sin, died on a cross for our sins. He has made the way
for us to return to God. On the third day after He was buried, He rose
from the dead, and has returned to Heaven and is now Lord over everything
that exists. He commands now that all men turn away from our sin and 
learn to obey Him completely. If we give our life to Him, we will have
eternal life.

There was a time in my life (marked by X) where I had to decide - whether
to continue living life my way (toward death), or accept God's gift and have
eternal life with Him.  I had to stop pretending that I didn't need God;
I had to accept the truth and submit to God, who is greater than I. "God
resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble."  (1 Peter chapter 5 verse 5)

I decided to make Jesus my Lord and Saviour, and Jesus removed my sin
and provided me the way to get back to God.

This is summarised by these words of the Bible : John chapter 3
verse 16 :
	  "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
	That whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have eternal life."


Is there any reason for you not to accept for yourself what God has done???
