20/03: Ridiculous Adsense Earnings
A lot of the "scam" ads out there promising fantastic adsense riches for very little work have photos or screenshots to show that the systems "really work". There are photos of cheques for large amounts, sports cars, screenshots of affiliate earnings, and so on.
It's sad that people are taken in by these, since these pictures (and testimonials) are all so easily faked.

My head span for a minute, when I heard that you can now order Starbucks Coffee from Amazon.com. After all, Amazon is the quintessential example of a shop with no building, no place, no physical environment. And Starbucks is the quintessential example of a shop where the building - the place - the ambience is everything.

Ok, maybe I was silly to do this, but.... Naah...
Adding a discussion forum to a website has been promoted as a great way enhance it. The traffic to the website can feed the forum, and vice-versa. What's more, the posts people make to the forum become content that googlebot will crawl, and show in search results, increasing your site's traffic still further.
