A fluorescent lamp has three main components. The lamp, of course. Then there is the starter. I tried replacing both of these on the storeroom lamp, before I found out the real problem.

At one point, we had a problem with ants in the house. It started when we sent my 5 year-old to bed one day, and discovered ants all over it. Well, he got to sleep in our room that night.

My wife bought a row of clothing hooks, and greeted me when I got home - "install these"

By 'clothing hooks' I mean a piece of metal with nice hooks on it - supposed to be screwed into the back of a door or into a wall.

Painting the master bedroom and the study area went ok. Then, it was time to tackle the stairwell. The roof of the stairwell is between 6 to 8 metres up! Fortunately, we had an extendable pole.
